Amy Raasch
Amy Raasch is a Los Angeles-based writer, musician, actor, media installation artist, and maker of interdisciplinary creative work for over 30 years. Raised in Minnesota and Michigan the eldest of five kids, Raasch is an intuitive teacher who enjoys helping students find new ways into creative expression through curiosity, collaboration, and interdisciplinary “cross-training.” Favorite projects include singer-songwriter album Girls Get Cold, named one of L.A. Weekly’s Best of the Year; animated film Cat Bird Coyote, theatrical multimedia show The Animal Monologues, and poetry manuscript Why I Am Not a Gravedigger. Recent literary accolades include Winner of the 2025 Sonora Review NOISE Poetry Contest, Finalist for the 2025 Jack McCarthy Book Prize, 2025 Florida Review Editor’s Award, and 2024 Trio Award. She holds a BA from the University of Michigan and an MFA from Bennington Writing Seminars. She is thrilled by the innovate vision of Bravura and is looking forward to helping students step confidently into their unique artistic footprint in a spirit of storytelling and play.
