CHAMBER MUSIC INSTITUTE
Chamber music brings the musical experience to the next level. Students are exposed to some of the most sublime repertoire while learning life lessons surrounding mutual respect, communication, and improvisation. This promotes a deeper understanding of intimate collaboration—musically and socially. These shared experiences ultimately help students become more accomplished, expressive, and connected musicians.

Chamber Music Commitment Guidelines
There are a multitude of benefits to be gleaned from participating in Chamber music. Above all it is about teamwork, and like any other seriously regarded activity, only works with 100% commitment from all participating members.
To that effect:
Attendance is required for all 15 weekly coachings per semester
Additional coachings available upon request
All students and parents must participate in the chamber music orientation on the first day of classes in person or via Zoom
Tuition varies by ensemble size and is non-refundable for missed coachings
More than 50% of the group has to be present to justify the coaching
Cancelations from any member must be made 48 hours prior to coaching
Lessons are only rescheduled if the coach is unable to attend the rehearsal
In order to keep well informed for any student missing a rehearsal it is recommended that they:request to join via Zoom to audit if it is possible
follow up to get details of the rehearsal from their chamber music members
There are no refunds for coachings that are missed by individual students as the fee covers the entire coaching period whether the students attends or not
Chamber groups are strongly encouraged to rehearse at least one additional hour per week outside of coachings; SOL-LA offers rehearsal space on Saturdays before or after lessons upon request.
