ELEMENTARY SCHOOL (2ND-5TH)
Junior Ensemble
This group class is a first step into the world of collaborative play for violins, violas and cellos. Students learn to blend together with harmony, melody and even dissonance!
Grades: 2nd-5th
Day/Time: Saturdays, 9:00am - 10:00am
Prerequisite: 1+ years playing experience, must be taking individual lessons. If new to SOL-LA, student will be asked to submit a recording or play for the Artistic Director.

Vocal Voyagers
Sing, move, play, and discover the language of music! In this fun and interactive class, students explore rhythm, note reading, solfège, ear training, and choir singing through musical games, movement activities, and creative ensemble work. With a strong emphasis on helping children build confidence using their singing voices, students will learn and perform songs together in end-of-semester showcases.

Woodwind Ensemble
Dive into the delightful world of woodwind ensemble repertoire! Improve the your technique whilst making music through fun-filled lessons that turn notes and rhythms into exciting musical adventures.

Music Theory Fundamentals I
This class is a friendly and comprehensive introduction to the language of music covering the key elements of musical grammar: note reading, rhythm, simple meters, scales, and musical terms. Students will also develop their ear training and sight-singing skills through fun, interactive activities.

Guitar Fundamentals
Dive into guitar playing and make new friends in this beginner class, where you will learn basic techniques, rhythms, and scales across various guitar styles. No prior experience needed—just bring your enthusiasm and get ready to strum away!

Most group classes are billed at $600 per semester for a 14 week semester
Vocal Voyagers is billed at $450 per semester for a 14 week semester, offered at 50% off if taken as a second group class
