Christen Sussin is an LA-based writer and performer. An alumna of The Groundlings Main Company, she trained, taught, and still gets onstage to perform—most often in The Crazy Uncle Joe Show, a lightning-fast, highly physical long-form improv show.

Christen also co-created and starred in the Oxygen comedy series Campus Ladies with Carrie Aizley, whom she met at The Groundlings. They wrote detailed story outlines that gave actors like Sean Hayes, Maya Rudolph, and Anthony Anderson the structure to play within, while the dialogue was entirely improvised.

She has appeared on shows like Curb Your Enthusiasm and Modern Family and voiced characters on animated series like American Dad. Christen holds a bachelor’s degree in Drama from USC. She believes that improv is a powerful way to become more connected, confident and creative.
