Qianshan Yun

Qianshan Yun, a pianist and educator based in Los Angeles, is actively involved in both performance and teaching. Her musical training was obtained at Eastman School of Music, Northwestern University, and Michigan State University, where she developed a strong foundation in piano performance and pedagogy.
As an educator, Qianshan has extensive experience working with students of all ages and skill levels, from young beginners to adult learners. She has guided students through major examination systems such as ABRSM, RCM, and the California Certificate of Merit (CM), helping them build solid technical skills, musical understanding, and confidence in performance. Her teaching approach emphasizes a balanced combination of technique, reading, and musical expression, encouraging students to develop independence and long-term musicianship.
In addition to her private teaching, Qianshan also serves as a collaborative pianist and class piano instructor, and has experience as a church organist, working with students in both individual and group settings. Her diverse teaching experience allows her to adapt her approach to meet the unique needs of each student.
